    Yo Ebbers,

I would suggest "Days Inn" Luton, a 100 yard walk from the casino.

Was great to meet you in Cardiff, you da man!

I would suggest the "Icon Hotel" Luton which is just up from the Days Inn

However you will probably need to look for a special offer to make the price compete with the Days.

    Hey Ebb

Welcome to the forum mate.  For poker playing purposes, as said above The Days Inn is the way forward.

For sightseeing in Luton, pick somewhere that isn't Luton ;)

(Should put a disclaimer that the Luton Hoo is lovely before Tikay says it).

Nice hotel in Paris, & better one in Sorrento, Hotel Capodimonte, not far, and nearly all downhill, i believe!!

I've just booked the Days Inn too.  Fairly good value and very near the casino.  I imagine it will be full of poker players that weekend too.

Another option is RED LION BROOKES LUTON http://www.theredlionhotel.net/

Although I always used The Days Inn.  Just make sure you get down to breakfast early!
