Velocity tournaments?

every night there's a....

200 gtd f/o Velocity..

500 gtd, rebuy Velocity...

300 gtd rebuy Velocity.....

Do you not reckon it was better how it was before with 1 1k gtd freezeout Velocity tourny at 10pm?

Maybe you can have a 1k gtd velocity on a Friday night at 8-15pm or something, as an alternative to the rebuy open that literally takes nearly 7 hours to finish, and isn't an option for alot of people, for different reasons.

    I never understand how 3/4 years ago there was a nightly 1.5kGTD Velocity yet now, with much more traffic, they are all rubbish rebuys.

    Good idea Doh.

    edit not slating rebuys as the rebuy open is great but a rebuy in a 4min blind tournie AND to rake rebuys too is ridic

    ^^^ what scotty said i see the velocity see the rebuy sign and dont go near it again lol... but yeah good idea JJ i'd play it, if 1) it was a Freezeout 2) at a reasonable starting time 3) decent guarantee on it

    there was always a 1k velocity at 9pm and £500 one at 11pm.

    i begged,pleaded,cried,stamped my feet,sulked,and asked politely for sky not to mess with velocity to no avail........maybe the poker snobs got their way.

    the only reason of course to remove a successful tourny imo is so they can charge rake on the rebuy(still a big bone of contention for me)

    That said i think if they reintroduced the freezeouts now they would make as much rake....it would easy attract 4/500 runners as its a game you can play alongside the main event or pull up at the last minute knowing it will not last longer than a couple of hours

    Always loved playing the velocity only played it once since it changed to a rebuy,
    thought I had clicked the SKY BINGO tab by accident
    Was amazed at how people where rebuying for 1bb!!!!
