I'd strongly recommend - Elements of Poker by Tommy Angelo

It's completely different to any other poker book you will have ever read and an excellent insight into poker thinking, what makes a good poker player, and what makes us play our best poker.

It's not about hand ratings, bet sizing, pot odds, triple range merging etc.......  and it's a really absorbing read.  For players that already understand how to play winning poker, this is a great book to read to improve how you think about poker.

I'd say The Mental Game of Poker is worth £32 though. It's an excellent book and one you have to keep referring to as you work on that aspect of your game/life. The Poker Blueprint is a great six max cash game book. It's mainly written with micro stakes in mind but it's still worth a read.

I'm sure it's cheaper than that now in book form anyway.

Whilst I agree that e-readers, ipads etc are great now for reading. Alot of people still prefer an actual book.
