Personally I think you need to re-raise more pre-flop. When you've got that many limpers for 60 and you only make it 330, you make it pretty tempting for a decent hand to call and once one person calls, the next guy does and the next guy and so on because the pot odds are getting better and better.

I do not want to be taking KK into a 4 way. You're quite lucky it held up.

You mean as there's no action?  Yeah i guess your right.

Been away for a couple of weeks, it'll take me awhile to remember what classes as an acceptable post :)

So good to be home with a fresh outlook, recommend it to anyone.

Sorry, right you are, I just scanned quickly and saw his name next to Winner at the bottom of the HH but obviously it was a side pot.

My statement remains the same though, reduce the number of people in the hand and maybe that doesnt happen.

sizing pre is fine, he could make it a bit bigger if he wanted, but 5.5BB is ok 30BB deep

I respect a lot of what you say on here so let me know if you disagree but if everyone has already put in 2BBs, is 5.5BBs going to get your average player with you average hand to fold? And the more people that do call, you're surely going to get people calling with 98 as pot odds increase. Granted you want people in with average hands against your KK but not 4 people.

Am I wrong? Do you think 5.5 is enough to get folds and these people were just wrong to call. I mean personally there's no way I'm calling a 5.5BB raise with A3

Misread hand, thought everyone limped in. 5.5X is certainly big enough as a 3bet though. Bigger may be optimal, but I cant see anything wrong with that sizing. I dont see why you want folds, and tbh anyone calls 330 with junk is prob not folding anyway.

Surely you want folds because KK is a very strong hand but if you deal out a board against 3 other random hands, say A9s, JTo, and 78s your odds of winning are not that fantastic. I was always of the opinion that big pairs play better against 1-2 opponents, correct me if I'm wrong.
