I wish I could be as good at poker as I once thought I was!

Im not that good at Poker but Im getting better but I dont think I will ever be as good as I thought I was when I first started!
I have noticed that there are lot of people at the lowest levels need to realise this about their game, some of them will never realise it, as they are to busy telling others how bad they are! :P

I think I used to be a lot better than I thought I was, but maybe now I think I am not quite as good as I think I should be.

I lke the following theory which can be applied to all "learning" - the example is riding a bike

1st stage UNCONSCIOUSLY INCOMPETENT   - no idea whether i could ride a bike or not

2nd stage  CONSCIOUSLY INCOMPETENT    - i got on the bike - wobbled and fell off

3rd stage   CONSCIOUSLY COMPETENT   - i can do this but have to think about where i am in the road

4th stage UNCONSCIOUSLY COMPETENT - ride 10 miles without even realising - not remembering any of the jouney

Oh to be at stage 4 in poker - that's where the big boys are!!!!!
