This was in a 5.50 dym, and very late...

Graveltrax is a top top man, and a gentleman, he took this beat in a great spirit. He has obviously been playing the game a while and knows whats hes doing. He didnt like calling off his last 590 chips, but he had to, and he wished me well... Why cant we call take bad beats and coolers this well? Credit to Mr Graveltrax though, seriously, i have never seen such a good reaction to such a cooler.

I reckon that the odds of two of six players having pocket pairs and flopping quads over a house are:

    15 * 52/52 * 3/51 * 48/50  * 3/49 * 4/48 * 3/47 * 2/46 = 0.0000012 or 83,376 to 1.

(The 15 at the beginning is the number of different ways that 2 pairs can occur in 6 hands.)

I'm happy to be corrected, as always.

The hand was played badly so not really a cold deck. You limp with 88 with 10BB and this happens to you, no sympathy. He should of shoved, then you would of had to fold.
