JUST BEEN WATCHING M.A.S.H WHEN THE (VICAR) CAME UP WITH THIS SAYNG ABOUT POKER.

NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU BLUFF, EVENTUALLY YOU HAVE TO PUT YOUR CARDS ON THE TABLE,

SO WAS WONDERING WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR BEST POKER SAYING ??

    More a quote rather than a saying. Doyle Brunson to a younger  (well aren't they all) player. "This is poker kid not solitaire"

    This was against Antonius wasnt it? Some pretty questionable (or unbelievable soulreading) play from Doyle, if its the hand I'm thinking of.

    Doyle actually says this to Patrik Antonius and Sammy Farha on HSP, almost $1M pot, and they spend almost 10 minutes talking and sparring before either of them will declare their hands. 

    And as a consequence, my favourite quote;

    $1M pot, flop is 9d6d3c

    Sammy Farha; C'mon Patrik, what do you have?

    Patrik Antonius; I have a pair. Top pair.

    yes its real mate, I can't name the player involved cos he's a 'top' player on sky. he actually said it at the SPT grand final a couple of years ago. it was the very last hand at the end of day 1. obviously he hit his king.
    a high profile sky analyst/player was present at the time.
