bad beats,bad luck or bad play?

i,ve just played 2 £1.15 dym,s...i,m holding top pair,jack with ace kicker,sure i,m winning,go all in after turn,villain calls with j8,sure enough 8 comes on river(3 outs-6%)....next ..can.t remember all details but again all in after turn,winning again,villain calls with flush draw and hits(9 outs-18% at best).seems to be happening day after day at the moment.......any suggestions?

    helps to post the hand to get a fuller idea of hand but as posted, you got rivered twice when ahead so unlucky


    in a dym tho, just cause ahead doesnt mean should shove depending on people left and stack sizes

    if you post the hands (there is a sticky thread at the top of the clinic page to tell you how) it will give people a fuller idea of how the hand was played in DYM i suppose as in all poker the preflop play and position is crucial
