1. I think you played it pretty well except the river, I might check then call a reasonable bet on the river rather than bet out, might have saved you a bit.

2. I don't think there's much else you could do here, short of J9 for the higher straight you've basically got the nuts... I can never put someone on a flopped flush because it is just so very very unlikely
