Download the Safari Browser

I have used Firefox for years, and love it.  However I've noticed that since the last update, Firefox can't handle more than 3 tables at once, any more and it grinds to a halt.

So I looked at an alternative browser which was Apple's Safari.  WOW.  I have 8 tabled no problem (apart from my rustiness at 8 tabling so I kept timing out!) but 6 tabling is easy and smooth and have yet to notice any lag.

Safari is now my browser of choice for when I have the grind on the mind :)  Now I just have to get better at the pokerz and maybe run good for once :(

I've been using it for a very long time but it suffers one particularly irritating bug that they don't seem to be able to sort out in any of the updates. Every now & then it'll max out the CPU util and won't recover until you've closed & relaunched it. Apart from that it is great.

It does appear to be more RAM thirsty than FF, like Noseybonk says, so I think if you do a PC cleanup/get rid of some background processes then that might make a difference.
