hello all

i keep missin out on the money in tourney play

can anyone offer any advice on this

    could be a couple of things,

    1) playing way too tight getting really short then shoving with marginal hands just to try and get the double up

    2) playing too many hands and spewing off chips with hands that you should not be involved in

    advice would be:

    dont play so tight in where you are only looking for hands such as JJ/QQ/KK/AA attack the weaker players on your table the ones that you think are just waiting for big pocket pairs and steal their blinds etc. raise from the btn a lot if the players in the blinds are tight doesn't matter what cards you have stealing blinds will avoid you getting so short where you are just shoving for the sake of a double up with marginal hands you wouldn't think of playing.
