The first hand is probably exactly how I'd play it. Any hand I'm coming in with, I'm raising to around 20p-24p. You hit top pair, deffo right to bet 3/4 pot at this level. After that, the pots too big compared to what he has left for you to fold that hand.

You were just unlucky that time.

1st one is fine. I do sometimes make the blinds up as we are out of position but generally i raise this up and probably play it similar to you.His stack size makes it quite awkard to get away from. Just one of those things.

2nd one, i dont like to be honest. After all the action and info given by those actions i find a fold there mate. Might try and peel a flop maybe but your never in front there going in to the hand. When they start shoving, its time to make a dignified exit, your behind to so many hands pre flop so its a negative move in my eyes. Be nice and nitty at this level and wait for better spots.

    1. Perfect.

    2. Nice raise pre, after call, all-in, call, call I probably fold here. If for some reason I did call I then SNAP fold to all in, I don't care how loose he's been playing A2 beats you here, easy fold.

aye it think im going to have to agree with you all i messed up the 2nd hand as at best with live cards i was only ever 60/40 ahead even if i discount the shorties all in if im presuming im losing to them then i have to win the 60/40 flip against the main villain to make a profit from the hand not worth getting involved

    ta guys

    Hi
My advice would be to make some notes on this player, as in both hands his play is not optimum. First hand he should not have called and the second, was risky even though he won not optimal in the long run, but to be brutally honest i hate your call, you have a pretty hand and were getting the odds to call  to start with but after the all in just fold and play the next hand, you would have seen their cards and not put your buy in at risk.

Anyone else think he can shove 2nd hand himself when it gets round to him?

Also I'm interested in ranges people give villains whio think this is a fold given action getting 2/1 with KQ

Tbh as the other to allins were 20bb or less leaving around 65 to play for against the main villian i wasn't to worried by their cards if i binked lucky me, i was only calling for the sidepot as i fancied i was ahead but thinking about it im only ever really flipping for this money relistically. Could have let this pass annoying that it turns out i had him dominated makes it more frustrating to lose lol but thats poker
