I'm with BT and find them fine.

I use my own wired router though as any BT provide you with are awful.

Search google for broadband providers review sites.

Not sure I can say who comes out on top here.

id not my router they said they know the issue and have corrected it give it a week and itll be fine. ive had this 6 or 7 times now. Ive had 3 diff routers, 2 BT ones and my dads one which works perfect on his BT connection just 5 houses down the road. ADSL cable and all other cbales changed on 5 occassions. tbh ive had enough of it now. And they aint getting paid till its fixed.

It probably just depends on the area you are living in as to who is best to use i have virgin media which seems to run at a high speed but then randomly d/c completely usually midway through a tourny extremly frustrating

    TalkTalk is fine here.

We had intermittent connection issues here for ages, in the end it turned out it was dodgy wiring somewhere in the internal telephone extensions within our house. Since our modem/router has been plugged directly into the main box where the telephone line comes in there have been no problems.

No Virgin media customers? I'm wired with a modem and I have been with them since I first got a computer , about 6 years. On 10 Meg and I actually get 10 Meg and have only lost the service twice and the longest was for 4 hours. If you can get Virgin cable in your area I recommend it.
