I'm thinking about what my opponents have here when I check the turn. I figure I can get all in on the river if the flush gets there.

I know that the only card that I have to fold to is an ace and there is only one or two left in the deck. I fold but would a bet on the turn bet better?

in my oppinion you played it perfectly, you saw the flop as cheaply as they allowed you, you raised 3/4 of the pot which is giving them nice pot odds, since im assuming your putting at least one of them on the ace,

when the second 5 comes up, i would of definately raised it up here, the only thing thats beating you at this point is someone slow playing the AA, but they probably wouldnt be able to give up there Ace, then when the Ace turns up on the river you made the right fold.

The reason i say i would of raised on the turn is cus im assuming you put your players on the ace, and basically if they both have aces thats a 2% chance of them hitting there full house, if only one of em had it thats a 4% chance, you need to make them pay to see that,

Why would you ever even think about checking the turn???

Because I don't think anyone has a 5 so the turn only improves MY hand. It's a deep stack so I want to get maximum value on the river. I'm hoping that a heart comes to complete the flush draw. The other players have played it so passive that a draw seems likely.

Whereas I think that if I bet the turn I fold out even most aces if the flush gets there and they don't have it.

How much should I bet on the turn then?

This is my first post, so it'll be interesting to see if this works.

Checking the turn is definitely an error, in my opinion. You've got a call from two players on the flop, so it's reasonable to assume that at least one of them has an Ace a flush draw or possibly even a 5. Only 55 and AA are beating you now, so you have little to be afraid of, but if they're holding a flush draw and miss it on the river, then you'll have missed out on value by checking the turn.

It's not a question of protecting your hand on the turn, it's a question of getting value from all the aces and flush draws. With 2050 in the pot and 3500 and 4500 in your opponents stack, I'd make a bet of about 1300 on the turn, from your stack. It's an amount that sets you up to get the lot from at least one of your opponents on the river...

With all that said, once you've got to the river the way you played it, it's absolutely right to fold. Your hand has almost been forfeited and you're not beating anything that your opponents would bet with. If you had played it my way, you'd have lost alot more, probably your whole stack. But we can't be results oriented.

Hope that helps a bit. Sorry it's a bit long.

Defo bet turn about 1200, if they have ANY Ace they WIL NOT fold.
