Preflop fine  dodgy hand so not worth raising.

Flop fine second pair and a bad gutshot so not worth betting.

Turn. This is where your problems are. You have the second nuts on a very draw heavy board and so at this point you are either a mile ahead or a mile behind. You are also sat there with no redraws and only a marginal extension. Your options after the lead out are either fold or raise the flat call there is awful because there are very few cards that you want to see on the river and you are also unsure of exactly where you are in the hand. When the minraise comes in and is called in front of you i think it is very safe to assume that an 87 is out there to which you are drawing to a gutshot for a split so this is a snap fold there.

On the river when the guy who lead out on the turn and then flatted a raise leads out again it screams of 87 to me and should have been an easy fold and not a flat call with the turn aggressor still to act.

For me you made 2 bad calls that cost you 220 chips. You could have found out all you needed to know by raising to 160 after the first turn bet and when the action takes off fold and save about 100 chips. This is all of course assuming that the 2 opponents in the hand know what they are doing and not overplaying 2 pair or set hands.

sorry was thinking 78 not 10 8 whoops

Yes was readless this was 4 or 5 hands into a £2 DYM i play these abit now as it quite often you get people who buy in by accident and don't know how to play so  even my very basic understanding of the game is enough to get by on.

I can see how i butchered the turn thanks for the good explanation Talon very helpfull.

Thought it was a straight forward fold til i saw this

but i got reads from this and went on to knock the villian out and cash so am happy with the fold as you guys say it should be a raise turn and easyish fold on the river to an all in this early in the tourny readless
