the only thing i see is you have got AK and yes i see they are suited but pre flop it was already raised, and you raised it WAY too much, AK is great pre flop but doesnt play well after the flop, you cant really fold after putting in that much of your money pre

as said AK is good before the flop, but if you miss doesnt play well after the flop,
yours is suited but you dont get any of that suit on the flop and all your looking for is a straight, but its an inside straight draw so your only going to be hitting it 16% of the time, hes raised suggesting he has hit you need to get out but you cant cus you invest too much pre

    raise pre is good imo
the call is probz quite marginal, if all your outs are clean you have probz have about 40% equity with 2 overs and gut shot - but that's not v.likely - suppose it is poss he's shoving a fd/sd - don't think the call is too bad but fold is probz best

only reason a made a bigger 3 bet is cause someone has already called the raise usually make it a bit smaller but reason a called on the flop is a though any ace, king or jack is good so thought gettin nearly 3 to 1 on the call even tho i kow im behind but cheers on the opinions guys

think the whole hand is fine IMO.  fwiw if hes bad enough to play ATo like that then he will do the same with KJ so you are gonna actually be ahead with AK here some of the time.

    Yeah pre is definitely fine.

It's a close one on the flop shove, but with the pot size and what you've got behind it's probably a call.

first reaction was pre flop raise a little big but as ya say theres 2 people in flop, if there was just you and short stack in it then itd be fine to shove or raise a lot less. But ya cant shove cos of other guy whose sat really deep.

And after flop your never folding really.

Unlcuky really you got yourself stuck in that sutuation but there was no avoiding it really.

    CHIN UP

Sizing is good vs loose passive since they will give up most flops.

On a side note, it's not very passive of him to lead out with a shove on the flop is it?

thats how i know a was behind because all game he was limpin callin raises an folding most flops so when he led the flop I hate it but as yb said earlier i`m like 27% to make the call and a was gettin nearly 3 to 1 on the call.
