yes your just playing the button, but are you really trying to steal the blinds in cash play xD if your gonna play these hands then fine, but raising 5x is a bit much for J 10o, if you really wanted to raise then maybe 3x BB but then your getting into small ball style poker which aint really gonna do much at this level.....

If you was doing small ball, then you would raise 3x BB, then when you hit the flop, you would raise by 2/3rds of the pot so your first raise would of been 24p... 24x3+12 = 48p in the pot, then the raise came so 66x2 = £1.32 in the pot by time it gets to you

so if your playing this hand you would raise it by another pound, they would call, the flush appears, you have only put £1.24 inside the pot, so you can easily escape the call then

Playing the button is not about stealing blinds, if there limping then calling 4x,5x raises then long term it's good for you tbh
If you can isolate these players then I would advise doing so but at your own risk.
Works a lot better when you have a hand though :s Unless they flop very well like a SFD and play it so passive :)

Thanks for your words of wisdom regarding small ball strategy, I shall take it on board
