Been shaking my head in disbelief for about three weeks now at the things happening to me on the tables. This typifies it. Cruel game, sigh.

In Response to When is a good fold not a good fold?:

But if you hit call the pack which is in flux stops in a different place and deals differently ( most likely ) so you did right man. Gratz.
Maybe the answer to this question is when it's a fold in the fabric of time   8/

Don't even think about these things spornybol. It's a total waste of energy and yeah the kicker sucked and it went into the muck where it belonged. GF man.

i don`t dwell on them, i think it`s funny that i fold hand like this and the flop hits, yet when i get premiere hands and do norm raising or flat to trap, they never hit.

It may seem that way but however you look at it the hand has been consigned to eternity. A gf is a gf because it works out over time. It doesn't make it a bf if you would have hit a monstie on that particular hand.
I know that you know this already. I just want to make sure that you aren't tempted to make these calls because you get wound up. That's when things get really sick.
It's ok to vent about stuff if you like. It makes some people feel better. You are obviously passionate about poker which is good.
However.....try this out maybe. EVERY time you feel an emotional response in a game stamp on it mentally. Straight away think DID I DO THE RIGHT THING ? I f the answer is yes then say GOOD I WILL NOT CAPITULATE AND LESSEN MY STANDARDS ! Move on, next hand, what are the blinds, when do they go up ? Who here is playing sub-optimally ? Have i got position on them ? Will they respect a standard raise ? etc etc.
Try to focus on constructive thought rather than negative emotion. It takes effort tho and you have to practice it. Over and over till it's second nature.
You may as well because being wound up doesn't  change anything for the better EVER and that isn't because i say so it's because this is the way of the world and it's tough but it's the same for everyone on the planet and probably aliens too.
Just trying to help Spornybol. It's none of my business to be fair so if you don't want to hear it anymore just say and i'll can it.

yep i now this but is always a good reminder, i`ve been done with a bad beat that knackered my stack once BUT i NEVER let it too me as, 1 i took a step back to see if i could have done differant 2 as a break was in 4/5 mins knew  i could take a breather if i could last that long . 3 i have the patients off a saint ( we,ll am married).
so as it happens after the break gettng decent card also picking spot  ended winnning the tournie.
