For now we only want suggestions for categories.
Hi ladies and gentlemen
Welcome to the skypoker community awards 2011. The last time this was run was 2009 and a lot has happened in sky poker since then.
Not only have you all seen the re-design of Sky Poker with the downloadable addition, but also the development and growth of this very community!
The mtt's now have a much better blind structure & allow a lot more play.
We the community now have the return of the premiership free games and the excellently run Monday night DTD .
Plus loads of time given by both forum comp organizers & comp players .
It is well noted the player numbers have grown, new faces and old are all now gathered together in the forum. Where help and advice is always at hand. All in all its been a great few years here at the skypoker tables and in the skypoker forum .
So to the sky community awards 2011, for now what we will be asking for is Ideas for award categories. once we have a few ideas we'll start a second thread for voting , where you will be able to vote for people for each category , but for now we only want suggestions for categories.
So get them suggestions in , all categories will be considered within reason so plz keep them clean but funny.
To help get you started here are a few initial ideas...
team captain of the year
team star player
sky luck box
Sexiest Male Community Member
Sexiest Female Community Member
Most Helpful forum person
Prolific poster of the Year
Best Advisor
Most Entertaining
Best Analyst/ Presenter
Best Blogger
overall good guy/gal in forum .
So over to you.... The Community Awards of 2011
irishrover will be helping me compile a short list of categories , please get your suggestions in before Sunday 18th September
p.s If enough interest is shown by forum peeps , we will try get some award prizes from skypoker , but most importantly lets have some community fun with this .
Oh to eliminate any fear in voting thread ( the next thread ) one will be able to post up or pm me .

But Dohhhhhhh and da Irishman into as many categories as they can fit into. TommyD's one of the best guys out too.
How often do we see the likes of Yidette9 Samantha25 DebDobs 67 Happy Nige Grave etc playing at the lowest qualifying levels then playing a big part in the televised Bounty Hunter/Primo/Roller etc
I don't know what their bankroll is but they do deserve a mention for consistently playing solid poker and making the big events

Most MTT Cashes?
Nearly Man/Woman? For the person out on the Bubble the most times in a year.
Oh So Close award for the most second places in a year
you can nominate me for best worst player
& How about an award for "best / worst" (delete as applicable) "Rub Down" post of the year.

Dunmidosh - In the Satalite king i would say Grave and Healss are very strong contenders. . . .

I would imagine this would be either IrishRover (HUs comp and DYM comp), Scouse Red + DTW Bandit (Monday Forum DTD) or Dohhhhhhh (just a ridiculous amount of help for micro stakes cash players)
