POKER POINTS GATHERING DUST IN MY ACCOUNT... HOW CAN I USE THEM UP??

IM SURE MOST OF YOU ARE IN THE SAME BOAT AS ME.... POKER POINTS IN YOUR ACCOUNT THAT ARENT REALLY BEING USED.. IVE GOT ALMOST 14KS WORTH SITTING THERE AND WHILE I COULD USE EM AS A 20 POINT BUY IN FOR A FREEROLL THAT CONSISTS OF 600+ RUNNERS TO WIN A TENNER ID HAVE TO PLAY ABOUT 700 FREEROLLS LASTING 2-3 HOURS.... TO USE EM UP... AND TO BE FAIR THAT ISNT COST EFFECTIVE TO MYSELF...AS ID RATHER PLAY SOMETHING FOR VALUE.. (HOWEVER I DO UNDERSTAND THAT FREEROLLS ARE GOOD FOR BEGINNERS AND PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOT GOT THE BANKROLL) THE ONE ON WEDNESDAY.. 250 POKER POINTS IS MODERATE VALUE TOP PRIZE NORMALLY BOUT £60 NUT UVE STILL GOT TO GRIND THROUGH 700 RUNNERS OR SO... I DO KNOW FROM TIME TO TIME SKY DOES DO SNGS FOR THE BIGGER EVENTS LIKE PRIMO OR THE MONTHLY BH'S FOR A SEAT... WHICH IS FAIR ENOUGH... HOWEVER.. I SAT DOWN WITH 10000 POINTS ON AN SNG TO ONE OF THESE EVENTS I THINK IT WAS FOR A SEAT FOR DTD... 20 RUNNERS... I SAT I SAT I SAT AND AFTER 3 OR SO HOURS IT WAS HALF FULL.... SO I CANCELLED.... IM JUST WONDERING IF THERE IS A WAY THESE "POINTS" COULD BE USED MORE CONSTRUCTIVELY:-


FIRSTLY:- COULD THE POINTS BE CONVERTED TO CASH, SAY EVERY 100 POINTS YOU EARN IS EQUIVALENT TO £1 OR
                     SOMETHING ALONG THOSE LINES(AIMED AT THE CASH PLAYER)

SECONDLY:- WHY NOT CONVERT POKER POINTS INTO TOURNAMENT POINTS, EG EVERY 110 POINTS YOU EARN CAN 
                         CAN GET YOU ENTRY INTO A £10 TOURNAMENT(INCLUDING FEE) KEEPING IT CAPPED AT ONE LEVEL,
                         THUS BOOSTING PLAYERS AND POSSIBLY PRIZEPOOLS.

THIRDLY:-   TRY HAVING A POKER POINTS TOURNAMENT, WINNER COULD GET A CHIP SET OR SOME MERCHANDISE
                       A SEAT TO A TOURNAMENT OR A CASH PRIZE.

JUST A FEW IDEAS IVE THOUGHT OF SO ALL SKYPOKER PLAYERS CAN USE THESE POKER POINTS, AND THAT THEY DONT LAY DORMANT IN OUR ACCOUNTS... APPRECIATE SOME COMMENTS ON THIS TO SEE WHAT EVERYONE THINKS AND IF ANY SKYPOKER EMPLOYEES READ THIS FEEDBACK WOULD BE WELCOME. THANKYOU;-)

    hence why ive gone to alot of trouble mick using my pea brain to maybe think and get the ball running on how to use em!! wheres my t-shirt and mug!;-)

    Sky has loads of merchandise that could be used in exchange for points. Primo qualifying sng's always worked well when there was a points buy in as well but then that stopped.  I agree jimbo that we need something better to use our points on.

    very good post jimbo, these poker points we have gathering dust is a joke, surely skypoker must do more, keep this discussion on-going until we get a positive response

    I totally agree jimbo i remember the good old days when you used to be able to sateilite in for Primo through points etc but not anymore even though sky makes more money now than it ever has becuase more players are using the site i feel as though sky should let us buy-in to tournys through poker points at the end of the day whats the harm? if we can get enough people sky might do something about it cumon people have your say!!!

    merchandise or sats are the way most players woould lie sky to go on this i think.

    chip sets would make ppl happy at a guess.

    Good post Jimbo,we all saw the sky polo shirts in vegas,you could do them for so many points in various colours .Chip protector,playing cards,chip sets, even a signed photo of rich orford for 20 points!!Maybe 150 points for Michelle!

    Hi,

    I have just added a points sat to tonight's Penguin Bootcamp Qualifier which is 500 points to enter with 1 in 5 qualifying....

    It is in the lobby now and starts at 3pm. Burn up some of your points and have a bit of fun....

    im  pleased you have added this satellite for poker points, any chance of 500 points satellite for tonights open aswell??
    at least it is a start but would like to see more of this for other tourneys
