Just unluky I'm afraid. Most times when you play a guy who 4x raises under the gun and then calls a 3x 3-bet with T8o you are going to win lots of money with your queens.

A set seems unlikely too since 77,44 or 33 are likely folding to your 3-bet and TT would have raised the 7-high flop.

The villian has played the hand like he's playing bingo and he hit his bingo card on the river. Most times this will not happen. As long as you have 20 buyins in your roll then you should be happy to see someone check-calling with T8o when you have QQ.

Hi Alan, You got called by a bingo merchant, then with that flop you're never going to get rid of him with the flush draw. This happens and i could go into the whole, don't be results orientated, cos over time you'll come out ahead thing. But you don't want to hear that, sorry

Bit harsh on villain here imo

    1. He has T8s. Opening is not that bad, calling the 3bet is questionable esp oop , but T8s is not the worst hand to do it with 220BB deep

    2. Assuming random 10NLers fold small pp to a 3bet is pretty dangerous. Also calling small pps should be fine deep.

    3. Why should villain raise TT on flop? They might raise, but flatting is valid and probably better against a good player in this spot imo

    4. Saying he played it like a bingo hand is a bit much imo, he flopped a flush draw and turned top pair. I think other lines may be optimal but he might have reasons to play it the way he did

Also I think heros riverbet is too thin readless

EDIT: Misread river action, hero should fold imo, he only beats missed diamonds

Pre good, flop good, turn good.

River when he suddenly shoves for 132 bb's (which is pretty big lol) I would fold as they've check called 2 streets but strangely want to get their money in first this time. Yes it could be a crazy bluff but I would think what he has beats one pair imo.
