Rake (7.5%) is too high at 10NL and below

The rake is 7.5% which is about 15bb/100 instead of the usual 5% (~10bb/100) on the other competing sites. I think anyone who plays 10NL or below are better off short-stacking 20NL (5% rake) until they have a sufficient BR and can play with a full stack.

I am sure the rake is beatable but I won't play at 10NL long enough to find out. Why bother when I could make more money by playing higher with a £10 stack without risking more? On bigger sites, the regs are generally better but the rake is lower so I would probably get a similar win rate and because multi-tabling is easier, my hourly rate would even be better.

Conclusion: if you really have to play 10NL, play it elsewhere. On skypoker, don't bother with 10NL, short-stack 20NL instead. Oh, and don't blame the short-stacker, blame the site.

Not at all stakes. At 20NL+, it is 5% which is the industry standard. So you can get all the advantages you named without losing money by short stacking 20NL.

c4p is negligible at nl4. These levels are useful if you are learning the game but soo difficult to crush. Whilst I dont advocate shorting on any cash table, the earlier post made a valid point.

What i mean is tho it may not seem fair havin what appears to be unfavourable %ages at lower stakes im sure its been taken into account from a business point of view by sky that the large majority of players on the site are at the lower end so in order to make money the %age has to be higher where the larger end of the clientelle is.
