Can I get any value on the river?

I've not been at the table long, maybe 5-10 minutes but I'm aware that I've raised a couple of time pre due to having some decent hands but I've not got anything for them.

So no real reads on X but my notes tell me he bets small on flop & turn with strong hands & usually overbets river. Given that he's checked the river here can I get any value from betting? Surely I'm only gonna get called by an ace, even if it's a rag ace? The reson I checked back the thurn was for a bit of pot control.

I would usually check flop, you are either wa/wb and you cant usually get 3 streets of value anyway

As played bet river, pps and maybe even Kx call, he rarely has an A

    I'd raise to 40p pre.

Flop I'd cbet less like 40p.

    Turn ok.

River bet about a £1, can't imagine them checking trips to you lol.

I think you easily get floated off flop with worse hands, it also being doubtful he checks river after you checked back turn.  I think you can b/f here for when he holds pp's and K high hands.  He limp caaled pre so I'd try and get value from 5's through 8's.

    Thank peeps.

fwiw I checked back & kinda kicked myself straight away. I'm 99.9999% certain I wouldn't have been paid off anyhow as he flipped KQh. Had this hand been 15-20 minutes later then I'm betting like there's no tomorrow after what I'd seen by then.
