Have i played this hand wrong again?

Playing 2/4p cash game i have AQ suited and i only have 49 p left. 2 ppl call so there is 14p in the middle so i push all in for my chips and someone calls me. Then the other person on the button calls.When flipped over the first player that called me had pocket 2 and the button called me with 6,7 off suit. As the saying goes i took the lead on the flop and he hit runner 6,7 to hit two pair. Is that bad play by me all in preflop, bad call or just unlucky.
