Really New to Sky poker

Hi really new to sky poker can anybody tell me how I find out how many poker points I have

also Is the buy in all you will ever pay to enter a tournement are is there possible other add ons which I need to be aware of

    Hi Mickey and welcome to the forum

    If you go to the top left of this page and click on 'my account', this will show you your current poker points for the month.

    In the tournament lobby, anyone which is a rebuy or and a add on will have a 'r' symbol to the left of it.

    I hope this helps...any more questions you have, just ask on here and someone will answer them for you.

    If you click on my account it shows you down in the bottom left.
    Make sure you have signed upto cash for points too, if you search the promotions page it explains what to do, or just post up here if you're stuck.

    Before you pay to enter a tourny, you can view in the lobby if it's a rebuy and has any addons.

    Welcome! 

    Poker points can be found if you click on 'my account' which should be situated at the top leftish of the screen. (smallish text).

    Regard the buy ins. Yep, if it says 11 quid, its 11 quid from start to finish. There are what we call 'rebuys' which means if you go bust you can buy in again. Like an extra life if you like, but these are not forced upon you. You choose how much you want to play with. When you enter a tourney or sit and go, launch the tournament lobby and all the information regarding 'rebuys' and 'add-ons' etc.

    Welcome Mickey. Just ask on the forum if you need help with anything else.

    You fairly new to poker? If so, maybe give the 'Double Your Money' tournaments a go (DYMs), you can play buy-ins as low as 30p, 6 players start, when it gets down to 3, every gets double what they bought in for. It's a good way to practice the basic skills of poker without risking much money.   

    NOTE: For the 30p buy-in, you actually win 50p because technically only 25p of your buy-in is actually buy-in and goes into the prize pool, the other 5p is called 'rake' and basically goes in Sky's pocket)
