hi i have a question does this make sense ive noticed alot lately that alot of people play these bounty hunters and super hunters play really loose early stages of a tourney to try and knock peoples bountys is this a right stragedy personally i think u should treat it as any tourney u play in play tight early then when blinds go up open your game abit its ok knocking people out and getting bountys but this way playing loose u got more chance of a early exit and isnt it worth cashing more then getting the bountys i worked it out u need to knock out 3 players roughly to get your money back but if u min cash u 5 x your buy in so surely its worth playing abc poker and not loose any 1 else agree or am i being silly ?

The main money to be made is still by reaching the final table, and naturally if you run that deep you're going to pick up some head prizes along the way anyway.
Some people do love to pick up as many heads in the early stages as possible though. I think they prefer to know they're going to be in profit for the night as early as possible.
The rebuy ones you can definetly widen your range against some opponents, especially if you're fairly short stacked before the first break when the rebuys end.
Why ? it's just a variation of a tournament.
