Hi all,
Bit of a scorcher today, isn't it?
And, wait for it, it's a bit of a scorcher tonight as well. (I thank you!)
Because once again Sky Poker TV goes live from 8pm till midnight to show your hands in the Sky Roller and Sky Sports Bounty Hunter and read out your messages and banter as you play on the site.
In charge of bringing you another feast of pokertainment is my good self
and Tan Man (registered trademark) himself Carlo Citrone.
Lol- how dodgy do WE look?
No Rupert Elder tonight unfortunately- he's on EPT duty, but they'll plenty more in the mix- more on that as we get it throughout the day.
Tonight, as ever, we have two topics. One serious and educational, and one not-so-serious!
The educational topic is-
How do you physically play your online poker? And why?
Do you lie in bed with a laptop? Do you have a special poker office at home? Do you play whilst watching TV? Do you have more than one monitor? Do you play pumped-up inspiring music whilst you play or relaxing music? And in what way does it help you? Do you run to an exact timetable and take regular breaks if you're playing cash? Do you multi-task and do emails and surf the web whilst playing? Do you find that a hindrance or does it in fact help you to focus?
In short, what's your set-up at home whilst you play on Sky Poker? And why do you play in that way. Any advice, tips or suggestions you can pass on to other players would be appreciated. And, if you can email us photos, even better!

As for our fun topic tonight-
with Carlos Tevez refusing to play for the gaffer this week we ask you...
What's the biggest trouble you've ever got into at work before?
Did you refuse to do something? Badmouth the boss to his girlfriend without realising who she was? Did you mix-up some important documents leading to a mini-crisis in the office/shop/factory?
Let's have 'em and see you at 8!

Worst thing I've ever done at work?
There is a lot of banter in our office with a lot of swearing when the receptionist is not in. The boss had been abusive towards me, so I text the office a very naughty word (Worse than the F word). Unfortunatly it took about 45 minutes to go through by which time the receptionist was in and on phone duty. #Epicfail !
I used to play on my laptop in my specially purchased ezyboy rise and recline chair....... however after last week's drubbing, I now play all my poker sitting on a stool under the stairs, with a box of Kleenex, and the TV switched off.
Evening chaps.

I have a bewildering set-up, due to my laptop's screen being on the fritz. The only way it isn't a green/purple psychadaelic show, is if I prop 4 DvDs and a filofax under the left part of the screen, counter balanced with a metal circular fruit bowl sat pushing down on the right-hand corner... it's really ridiculous, and I should invest in a new one!
With regard to work gaffs, my first week I managed to send a circular/viral email (just a giant picture/gag), to 500,000 customers from our database. I rather stupidly referenced an image on my PC. Meaning half a million people got an email with a white square and a little red cross in it
10 years on, and after not getting fired, I'm admonishing my junior members of staff for a LOT less daft things... shhh.
Have a great show. Dan
Biggest work gaff - there was the time when we spelt Nik Persaud's name wrong on the front of a magazine. That one got past the editor and the proof readers. That was interesting.
I don't think that was very on-message and I'm still waiting for your two-weeks payment fine and suspension to kick in.
And if you think you're going to get a lucrative transfer elsewhere, think again. We'll let you rot in the reserves till your contract expires.
Have a nice day.
;-)
Oh, and that was completely ad libbed a worked off a long-standing dynamic between me and Penguin. Frankly he had it coming.

Unfortunately due to technical problems we will not be covering the Sky Roller or Bounty Hunter tonight. These problems are totally out of hands so nothing we can do.
We will be live from 8pm- 830pm to read out your emails.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but as always BLAME ORFORD
Thanks
It looks like we can't show any hands tonight.
However, the show must go on and we will still be going live at 8pm till 8.30pm to bring you the latest news from the site and leaderboards as well as discussing your posts and emails.
So please keep them coming!
Is out lovely Mandy any better please?, and please tell her, I hope she gets well soon if she isnt, thank you
