DYM bubble time - JJ59 and I are chip leaders by a fair way - JC & sarah10 have 2k & 1.5k. Blinds about to go up.  Do you just let this one go?? (Would be interested to hear what JC would do in this situation!)

lol, Pad u seem so confused in your posts sometimes.....

    Break the hand down.

Pre flop, you have 4k chips, which will be the avergae chip stack when the game ends. You are in a hand against the 1 player who can hurt you.

What should you be thinking here, regardless of your cards in this situation? Using the dym "mindset" - what sorta things should u be concentrating on doing? What's going through your mind on the bubble here?

When you have answered that question, go back and look at your pre flop play. Does your pre flop play, fit in with the answers to the above questions? (forget after the flop for now).

Cannot believe you raised pre. After that, even though I don't like folding trips, you're in much to good a position to risk your tournament life against the chip leader, just fold.

I would definately check that pre-flop against the other chip leader. As played I'm shipping that flop in this spot always. I don't recall seeing the hand, would be interested in what happened...

Well in this situation 50% of me is thinking "just stay outta trouble" and the other 50% is saying " i'm NOT safe yet,, lets see a flop!"  Hands-up my raise pre is awful, I meant to check!

    lol

make up for the sb = bad
min raising from the bb - bad
calling the min raise from the sb = really bad

    flop lead = bad
    your shove = good
    his call = bad

    river = LOLZ

    NEXT !

I find you don't have to go  to war - fold/shove till 7 bigs so... no hurry here m8ty
Infact I would prefer you just fold or shove pre tbh

    What buy in was this?

I think this is some of the worse poker in a DYM I've seen!!

A min raise was never going to make him fold - if you really wanted to raise you needed to make it bigger prob 3x

The way is was played you have to go with it on the flop.

Had you just checked in the BB im still not sure I would have folded that flop but you need to remember your not trying to come 1st in a DYM just the top 3 (i think you need to remind yourself of this all the time)
