Playing very lag early on cash games

Recently ive been very lag in the 1st 10/15 mins on cash 10/20 and have found it very beneficial ie i will call with ace high on river etc to make out im a bit novice,Then if i get the goods i get paid off very well ,Does any body do this or am i a bit silly to be playing like this?

Plus better players will spot if you suddenly start playing alot less pots.

If it is cheap enough to make yourself look fishy then fair enough. I do this sometimes but then again i come across as fishy all the time so it makes no difference.
