Dirty stack!!!

I was playing live tuesday night and two players at the table kept putting there smaller chips at the front of the table rather than there bigger chips,Is this correct?Also one player had 1k chips mixed with 500 chips ,To my knowledge this is incorrect aswell.Another guy on table commented on both players saying they had dirty stacks, So just wondering what the correct rules on this are.

    Varies from venue to venue. Although a common rule is Higher chip values must always be on show.

    I always pile them up into stacks of 10, ah this makes it easier for me to know my stack but also if others ask i can show them my stack easier. Then they know exactly whats there.

    If i mind right tikay got a round sit out in vegas for having a "dirty" stack.

    Yes, you are correct. 

    Biggest chips should be at the front, I normally stack all my 500's and 1000's together but in order and not mixed up.

    It's up to the dealer to sort this and the players shouldn't need to comment on it.

    It was only pub poker so self deal, Which made it harder to sort right from wrong.

    To make it worse when we got to the regionals i was the only player from my region handed a sit out. Explain that next time ur at a local game and u try to hand a sit out knowin u where the only one to break the rules when it mattered.

    Im luckily going to the national final @DTD in March 9 got seat and i got so lucky v AA and KK my 5/6 suited flopped st8 flush,Hope i have this luck in nationals.lol

    we where clamping down on silly little things. My seat was seat one (to the left of the dealer) and i couldnt see seat 9 at all. So i checked OOP once got a warning. Then it happened again i got a round sit out.

    To say the least i dont mind a sit out, but when u genuniely cant see the guy thats to act before you because the dealer is covering your view is a bit extreme.

    you guys get a trip to vegas wtf. None of us Scots get that. When i had the choice of which national to put my little region into now wish id gone for the English one. Just felt since the Scottish one was held in Edinburgh it would be easier for most of the guys.

    Rarley play in the league anymore may start doing so again.
