In Response to Re: Can Anyone Help:
I had not lost connection,  the start of the hand played OK  problems started after the flop.  I was pressing half pot raise and nothing happened so it checked me,  the turn was the same would not let me raise or do anything and due to his raise it folded me.  The next hand played without any problems and I sat there stunned and trying to work out what had just happened. Several hands later the same thing happened again with premium cards the screen froze then boom boom down came the cards, didn't get chance to bet or anything.  I was still logged in and next hand played OK.  I just laughed it off and carried on but hubby didn't believe me so the hunt for the hand was on.  Now he's saying its my fault for playing rag Aces.   Surely its OK if your in the small or big blind as in this case. ?  While I was hunting the above hand I did keep track of how many Ace rag I folded and found my hand range was fold under Ace Ten,  so  Ace Nine under I had been folding already.  You cant sit waiting for premium hands all the time I'll get blinded out and struggle in the later stages, but he's right I suppose I'm guilty of playing silly cards when I'm card dead for a while.  Surely I'm entitled to be a loose woman now and again it should be written into the rule book. ?

They say a really good players should play the least amount of hands from the blinds because it's just a horrible position to be in. I certainly don't advocate making up the SB with hands like A5off unless you're an excellent post flop player

Bit of a Fish if he was waiting for that card on the river,  but knowing my luck he would probably have hit it. ?  So Quad Aces wasn't the nuts. Mmmm  That makes me feel better. ty  Hugs xxx

This Thread was Tongue and cheek and meant to amuse.  How-ever your sensible post deserves my reply.

Well if it was like 200 400 then I would (not) have seen the flop but as it was cheep I usually play Rag Ace early stage if in the B/S blind,  if not I would normally fold,  but again if that's what Hubby in banging on about OK  I will try to tighten up if this is considered a leek of my Chips.  I play for fun so its not the end of the World if I lose on silly calls.  I've had some great games which I thoroughly enjoyed playing even though I lost.  But lets face it we would all rather win. ? lol  Note;  Is Excellent post flop player one who bluffs with five times bb to get everyone to fold.  If so I will never be one,  as I struggle to play or raise with nothing.  Big disadvantage against bluffers.  I don't think I'm a bad player its more I'm not a good player I need more time and games playing. I like Omaha and trying high low lately with mixed results. But I am enjoying my Poker and that what counts to me. ty 4 input and advice. Hugs Annie xx
