Last night in the £5.50 deepstack, the guy had been pretty active and a little unpredictable and we'd banged heads a few times with him coming off better than me up to this point.  i'd been waiting for a spot like this to take his chips and on reflection although a good result, I'm not sure ifI left some money on the table here?

and fair play to the guy - I went on to cash in 8th place and he was still left in after me.

I dont mind your betsizing up to the river, but the board pairing gave you the opportunity to take a lot more of his chips. I would be putting him on AJ/AQ, and he was probably putting you on similar. The fact that his poorish 9 kicker suddenly didnt play made his 2 pairs much more attractive with the K on board.

A larger bet would have likely been called even if he thought he was only chopping it.

The fact that your previous raises had been smaller than they could have been would have made it difficult for him to put you on AA/AK

looking at his hand yes you prob could of bet the flop but you are not to know that so i think you got very close tro max value here unless he was proper aggro

bet enough on previous streets to make it difficult for him to fold to river shove

really dislike the min raise on the turn - i prob fold if im the villian it just screams massive hand.

Your line looks so strong - Raise pre, check flop (on a board which should b C-bet) min raise turn, bet river.

I think you were lucky to get a call!
