As AAelmoAA says, at least you got your chips in good. What is it on skypoker with people calling an all-in with KQ - especially when he's 2nd to act? It's losing to any pair and even raggy aces.
I have played 4 of the UKOPS and, as indicated by your post, I've being really shocked at the standard of play. I know you want these situations but in £530 or £220 buy-in events I expected a much better standard of play.
I'm already out of the Main event when I get called down to the river by a guy trying to hit his 4 outer (he had A4 on a 823 rainbow board) for a str8 and he hits a back door flush after I'd hit my set of queens on the turn. I'm sure he could claim he had implied odds but Sharkscope tells me he doesn't understand basic maths - he had a similar graph to your goonas.
A few hands later I have AA and he's raised to 120. I make it 600 to go and he calls out of position with Ten, 8. I'm pot committed and his 2 pair on the flop are good.
