Who played this hand the worse?????

This was a £2 deepstack MTT and this hand created much debate in the chatbox which went on for over an hour. I accepted that my play wasn't the best but the other guy would not agree that calling a 4 bet shove with JJ was also extremely loose. I am not an authority on % but I believe that his consistent statement that he was a 70% favourite pre-flop is wrong. Any comments/analysis would be welcome.

    I reckon he's prob only about 55% ahead pre. (After turn hes 85% ahead tho!) He lost a flip he'll get over it! Prob a bit early to be all-in in a DS tho? But hey-ho!

    your lucky you got away with only an hours chat afterwards, he can go on for days :)!

    i prefer his play to yours and probably call with the JJ too.

    just seems unlikely that QQ-AA are over shoving in your spot.  he's never worse than a coin flip here imo.

    i dont get why you would shove the AQ there...will you ever get called with worse?  most of the time when you get called you will be completely crushed.  its a lot to risk for very few chips.

    The more I think about it the more I agree that my shove was very poor (I think I may have been tilting a bit from another tourny I had just been knocked out of). It was definately too early to get involved in a race which is why I think his play was also loose, particuiarly as he said he put me on the Ace.

    Never am i re-raising all-in pre with aq when ur that deep.

    Nothing wrong with his play, u got lucky, he didnt. magicalman must move on. 70% favourite is not correct either.

    on the flip side, if u had flatted pre, u prob would of folded the flop and wouldnt have won all those lovely chips!!

    I probz just fold after that pretty large 3bet OOP.

    I can't see why you'd shove 4k to win less than 500 chips this early in toruney when it will make hardly any difference to your stack and chance of winning plus most times when he calls you'll be a lot worse of than you found yourself here.

    AQ is the devil in disguise, can't stop losing with it :S

    fold to the 3 bet unless you know oppo 3 bets 10's+, even then it's just a flat or a shove bluff

    as far as i see it, your shove is ok in a faster structured tourny or if your getting short, although with JJ your getting called alot of the time, but as it is in a deepstack and early on in it, i agree with most people that there is no need to push as your only getting called by premium hands. As it stands you got lucky and maybe your opponent needs to realise this happens in poker. move on.

    lol @ hand, play AQ like its the nuts.

    both players played it like the average newcomer would. can't fold when hotometer says its good!
