Run bad week, sick of constant outdraws when getting it in good.

i've decided to take a break, but how long should it be?

Bit of a nasty one there ok having said that what was he doing calling your shove on the flop with no pair no draw im a bit fed up with poeple saying of this particular play you want the call of course we do but this type of outdraw always happens to someone who is quite short stacked case in point never seems to happen when you have mountain of chips i have had a few of them beats myself if your taking a break best i think to take a month or 2 off play no cards at all come back with a clear head fresh for the battle because if you carry on in a bad frame of mind road to busted bankroll me thinks,...

Thanks for that Neil, that's what I'm thinking, at least a month.
Stuck with it for over a week but it does affect your play and you BR.
I don't want to go bust and then re-load and start chasing the loses.

Come back refreshed, with a big stack obviously, and shove any 2 FTW.

Red King mate ure a decent enough player , ive played ya lots in the dtd as well as other tournaments.

My question to you is , no matter how long ya take a break for do ya REALLY expect to come back and see any different ??

Ive been on here for well over 2 yrs now and i NEVER stop seeing it.

Debdobs_67, the beats may not change overall in the long term,
but when you consistently get a bad run it starts to affect your play.
When you start to question your, otherwise good, reads on players
and don't play as you would normally for fear of always being DONKED.
I think a few weeks away from the tables and I can start afresh.

Note to SkyPoker: VARIANCE has been posted missing.

    review your hands
    did you play them badly
    yes or no
address problem honestly with yourself if you did play some hands badly
if outdraws then just accept there part of poker

    return to playing when complete

could be a day or a week )

    Thanks rancid,
I'm already going through last weeks results,
from what I remember, I played most correctly,
it was the consistant outdraws that got too much, lol.

As they say, we want the donk calls when were in ahead,
but it gets so frustrating when they keep hitting their outs.

The first post was the last of a bad run, oppo needed runner, runner.
