hand 2 - probably has a raggady ace so good fold.
Hand 1 is slightly more interesting. I think on the flop, the play was fine, strange lead out prob meant he was either on a draw or maybe had jq?? u have to raise his small turn bet, cos he could of quite easily made that bet with a house but more than likely was on a draw still, and his bet was more a stopper bet.
Good fold for me in the end, i cant see what you beat on the river, unless he had KJoff.
the more i look at the hand the more i think he flopped the 2 pair/str and his river bet is maybe he put me on a flush draw. maybe he had 72o and just gave me a lesson.
2. Check turn, depending on bet size might call or just fold.
however if u think ur beaten on the turn the surely its best fold as ur only hoping to river a king or 9
if u put him on the flush draw u need to be raising the turn to make him pay to hit the flush draw. u've not show any agression in this hand and his taken it away from u as there's no way u can call that all in.
did u ask what he had? possibly aj? a10? k10? kj? j10? these are all hands u beat
2 if i check turn would that not let him bet at me with anything? have to fold anyway?
2nd one. Nice pre flop bet size. As said in BB&V, not sure why your opening pot. Especially as this is a great board. In this instance it works out for you as opponent perceives it as a no pair cbet...but then gets there.
This is just my opinion bud, based on seeing a fair few of your hands in last 2 days. When we open pot, we are likely to get max value in the minority of spots. Mostly opponents fold or rejam drawing a line. But if we keep our cbets vbs between half and 2/3ds we leave ourself alot of ability to play poker through streets. Also avoiding getting pot stuck on dirty cards.
Out of curiosity do you still pot it when you miss entirely after a pf3bet?
Reason for check turn as if you bet you're only getting called when your beat, it's just one of those super sick turns, any other card in the deck and you get it in but an Ace is just sigh fold imo
