Prob shudnt be playing this game, was v deep into a session, and a very good session where I was +180ish has faded away and I was now only +40 for the day, and felt tilted....

40 quid games r still comfortably within my roll, but at least 2 levels higher than I normally play, and as I was tilted abit I cudnt be bothered to wait so reg'd for a game v one of the most successful HU sngers on't site.

Its ok tho I figured it was a 1 off game, and if I lost it's annoying but break even-ish session aint too bad.

--------------------------------

Hand.....

He's obv a pretty agro player, and had 3bet me once in the game so far with JQ, I peeled in position with K9, and turned it into a bluff on 8,9, T, only to see he had flopped the nuts with JQ.

I raised his flop lead, he flats, and checks turn and riv to me, I'd given up with 2nd pair and showdown value, feeling I'd be ahead quite often with his line.

On to this hand, I decide to float this board, knowing I've got position, overs, and good back door equity to play the turn aggressively.

Turn is a good card, just the kinda thing I was looking for, but he decides to bet again...

I guess now I don't really have a choice having floated the flop? I have to put it in?

Or can I just call, because it looks like he's never folding?

Calling leaves me with only 600 back should I brick off though, and although the blinds are 10/20 and I'd have 30 bigs, it's gonna be a long way back from there.

Should I just fold flop?

3 points..

1) peel pre ok?

2) float flop ok?

3) call/shove/fold turn?

    1) Marginal given stack depth.  But as blinds are so still so small relative it isnt exactly bad.  We'll connect enough to make it worthwile over time, especially in this format.  I think your hand is going to play decently vs his 3bet range here much of the time (again in this format).

    2) Float marginal.  As you mention, sufficent back door equity.

    3)  As played, when turn comes Jd, if you do anything BUT shove its bad.  Nullifies the whole logic of the line.  IM(sullied)Opinion anyway :p

Now answer my sigh call post, its bugging me :p

Thats what I'm asking, can I ever call and fold if I miss?

Should I just fold every street?

pre isnt great that deep imo

If you call pre you cant just play fit or fold, flop float ok imo if he checks turn when hes missed a lot or you are prepared to jam over a double barrell on lots of turns. I wouldnt be a big fan of jamming over a barrell though given odds he will get to call

I think you can prob flat turn, but I dont mind folding either
