Sick DTD

What a disgusting way to get knocked out of the DTD within about 15 mins of it kicking off...

I just want peopel to tell me that I was right to call here and I played the hand ok (if it's true obviously). I know it's a disgusting outdraw but do you think I played it fine? I just don't see what he is possibly representing by the way he played it (that beats me). I felt really confident tonight as well and then I get this!

    I prefer check raise on flop but yh how it's played sick outdraw ul man.

    Not that sick. He has got 8 outs to hit on the turn (any ten or three gets there too). You didn't do a lot wrong here. His cold-call from the big blind however after a raise and a 3-bet is questionable. Play the hand from his PoV and he might think that his cute flat call from the big blind with QQ doesn't look very strong and you might be playing AT thinking that TPTK is good enough. Maybe this is why he played post flop the way he did.

    Bad beat but against your hand he is only 4.5:1 underdog or 18.18%. That's roughly the same as you opponent hitting a flush on the river when one of that suit is out of play.

    yeah I prefer c/r flop too

    bet turn bigger, never fold. While its a sickener and I think villain butchered his hand its not a miracle outdraw either he had 8 outs 

    EDIT: Thought villain was pfr, changes things a good bit imo that he coldcalled from bb. I think I still prob get it in, but wouldnt shock me if he turned over a set or 89s

    If you take the hand and put him on AK hes unlikley to put many more chips in so a c/r is better.
