Wasnt sure if i was good hear have two pair but feel like he was strong. Felt like if i shoved the river when the 3rd diamond hit he may fold hands that are beating me but also may make a bad call with hands that i am beating such as J10 AK AQ. Do you think it was the right play or should I have just check - folded or check - called?

You've got yourself into a tricky spot here. From the top then. Nothing wrong with ATs as a hand but a player has raised UTG, this doesn't automatically mean strength but we can assume that if he's doing it with an ace it's more likely that his kicker is bigger than a ten. So if we do hit an ace we need to proceed with caution since he could easily have a better ace. The SB call makes it okay to call but if the UTG raiser is tight then you might consider a squeeze 3-bet here. If you think UTG might fold. The call from the small blind looks weak. Anyway overall call is okay.

On the flop you are now playing without possition in a multi-way pot. muscles' bet of 1/3 of the pot is a strange play because it doesn't actually achieve anything. He's giving you 4:1 pot odds here and if you call WASTE is getting 5:1 which is almost enough to call with any two cards. muscles' bet doesn't tell you anything but waste's raise does. He has bet 75% of the pot on a very dangerous board. At this point he has at least AK in my oppinion. AJ is possible or maybe a big draw like Kx of diamonds (draw to both nut straight and flush) as is a set since he has to protect his hand.

Muscles folds what was likely some kind of draw since he now has the information that his probe bet was for (he bet 1/3 of the pot and got a call a huge raise and another call)

The turn is an eight which completes the straight if anyone was up and down with Q9 giving them a queen high straight but doesn't change your hand at all. You have £18.60 back and the pot has ballooned up to £10.80 any bet now on the turn and you are facing an all-in situation on the river with about a million scary river cards so you check but then your opponent bets 50% of the pot giving you 3:1 pot odds.

Your opponent know that if you have two random diamonds and are calling to hit the flush then you are almost a 4:1 underdog to do so and since top two are diamonds it's unlikely that you have a made hand with your diamonds unless you have Q9. You flat call sugests to your opponent that you don't have diamonds but that you have a hand like the one you have are make a vain attempt to keep the pot small.

When you shove on the end I don't think a good opponent will be that worried about you having a flush and they will only call you with hands that beat you.
