I think this is a great hand to post. Such a tough spot not sure what I would do.
Sort of hands he would call pre flop with. I would rule out a higher set but QJ flopping to pair is possible and hands like KT with a heart is also possible. The fact that Dons cbet was more of a feeler bet maybe overpair or AQ? means ceebeedee may just be re-raising to see where he is at.

Interested into what people would do here.
If you re-raised here you would have to make it 25 which leaves you pretty committed to the pot and I think calling is bad as it may price anyone in for the 4th flush card or str8. I can't see me folding here. Think I just shove and pay them off

Yeh if I had reads & was deeper.....

Never heard of most at that table and the ones I have seen wouldnt give me any reason to fold.

The deeper we r, the more I would consider flatting, obv...

Can't do owt but shove here, esp having started the hand with 84xbb

Just trying to get more in depth really, sometimes I just can't see how it would be profitable to continue in this spot.

Mucking around on pokerstove I decided to check out how we fare against a made flush and a top pair + nut flush draw. Decided to rule out QQ/JJ.

Against the made flush we have 33% equity
Against the draw we have 70%
Against both at once we have 28%

Think it probably looks like shoving will be the best move based on what the pot size will become.

    -----------------------------------------------------------

    Is that even possible?:S:S:S ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Against hands that are ahead of us we have 33%.......

Add in hands we beat and it drops to 28% ??????

of course we lose equity when pot changes from 2 way to 3 way unless of course we are holding unbeatable nuts or the 3rd entrys equity is 0.

why would our equity go up just because a weaker hand joined the party? I guess the change would be lower if it was QJ that was included rather then the nut flush draw.

if wondering what hands I used for test, was 98hearts and AheartQspade

    FOLD

MIN RAISE MULTIPLE CALLERS, FLUSHING FLOP, STR8 DRAW POSSIBILITY, TWO OVERCARDS

FOR ME IF YOU SHOVE YOU MAY ALREADY BE WELL BEHIND  GET 1-3 CALLERS ALL WITH MUTIPLE OUTS
THE HANDS COST YOU A QUID GET OFF IT BEFORE YOU REGRET IT

Oh I thought u had merged the hands, to come up with a single range for 1 player .......

So like assuming 1 player stacks off with the range of flushes & draws it came to 28%, that's what I thought u were saying.

    #confusion.

ah, I guess I could of made it a bit clearer.

I added both at once because its entirely possible that stacks go in here with that situation.

considering the action pre flop there would look to be very little chance that you are facing set over set.  with this in mind having players to act behind you becomes less of a factor as your equity wont change drastically if you are up against a flush.

basically, as set over set is unlikely and with 84 bbs im all in here everytime.  if he has flopped a flush you have equity and you need to isolate so you dont see a horror turn card multi way.

    raise />fold>call.

what happens if you call and someone else jams?  are you folding a set with
70bbs behind and good equity in most spots?  what happens when you go 4 way to the turn and its the 8 of hearts?

Dont hate a flat to jam turn.  We are getting called by the £8 off flop, them having a likely 38% vs our set.

Dont mind keeping in the dead money behind to jam turn.

I really dont like these spots online, mainly as, once 2/3 bet, the Kh or Ah is rarely going to fold.  So the FE becomes none exhistent at nearly 6/4.

Dont mind a jam, dont mind doing it the other way.

only problem with the call is being left with an even worse decision when it comes back round to you with an all in and a call in front of you.

do you want to fold a set in this spot?
