5.50 DYM Strange Play

Basically, the shorty was sat out for ages and just getting his blinds raised. For some reason xxx started shoving all in. Can anyone explain this shove, am i missing something?

I do things like this very often, he is 99.99999% gonna cash, DYMs are pretty boring really so any chance to mess around and I'll take it : )

This is why i posted as i could'nt figure the logic. So basically the raiser was trying to keep the pot as small as poss, fair play then.
