I realise I'm opening myself up to a pile of 'hilarious' rubdowns and the like but I would really like some people who have played against me/seen me play/seen many of my hands on the clinic to give an honest opinion of my general game, both at Cash and MTTs if you know enough about me to make the distinction. I'm intrigued to know what kind of image you think I give off and what kinda of player you actually think I am (if they're different). If you have notes on me (and don't mind discussing them), do you think I'm tight/loose/medium pre... do I call too often to hit and just get rid when I miss (I think this could be the case).

If anyone doesn't mind telling me but prefers not to announce it on the thread, then please PM me.

This is basically because I've had quite a few people say to me they think I'm a good solid player, but I dunno if they're only seeing the good parts of my game, or maybe I'm just feeling down about variance at the moment, but I don't feel like I'm playing that well recently. Planning on taking a few days off cos I've been really putting in the hours for the last few weeks.

Please don't just make nice comments to make me happy lol... I am looking for honest constructive criticism here... Am I too passive post flop? Well go wild and lemme know!

    I dont think ive played u or if i have i havent had many pots with u.

    U do realise ppl are unlikely to give you their reads or what sort of player they put u in, im sure you know this anyway but unless u buddy up with a few players where u discuss hands via fb/messenger/ then ppl are unlikely to disclose those details

    God knows what I was doing there, I honestly have no idea what happened there because I NEVER slowplay AA for this exact reason. Obviously it's hard for me to say NEVER when I've posted the hand below but I can only think it was a misclick or something lol.

    I know what ya mean YG and I also offer the option to PM me if they'd prefer to not announce it. I've one taker on that (I won't name names) who said they had me as 'good solid - predictable' in their notes.

    I know not everyone will wanna divulge their info on me, but I was just hoping a few people might be kind enough to give me their general thoughts on my game, even if they don't wanna discuss specific reads.

    Be brutal people, I don't mind if you think I'm a donkey! lol

    I'd say you actually remind me of myself a lot tbh, mainly from the various posts you make in clinic in terms of your thought process on the micro limit cash hands but also your structured approach to BRM, basically a solid game where you should never go broke but also won't be going crazy 4betting with air at the higher levels etc.

    I will admit I've NEVER actually played you for long periods at cash but that's mainly due to me liking to play really bad players who barely know how to work a mouse let alone play poker so the above could be all rubbish lol.

    Lol well thanks Dude, not sure what to make of it entirely.

    I find it very hard to analyse my own game sometimes, but I started this thread because I feared I was potentially becoming a bit too 'solid' and predictable as one person has already said, but then I guess it comes down to a case of table selection and playing against people who aren't good enough to notice that.

    NL4 - NL10 it shouldn't really matter as long as you play on the right tables but certainly once you get to NL20 you really have to learn how to play poker as from brief experiance there are a lot less proper awful limp/call players instead as I think Dohhhhh mentioned the players are still bad you just have to know how to get their money in different ways.

    Yeah I definitely know what ya mean. I did post about this on the liive show thread recently when Redmond did one of the Mastercash shows for any tips but I definitely think table selection is where I fall down and I think it's basically a result of bad note taking.
