    1. nh

    2. Prefer 3bet or fold pre, not sure why you lead flop and when he raises I probz fold without good reads.

    3. Look ok, probz b/f river.

Standard, putting himself in marginal spots I don't think so.

    1. fold pre
    2. calling here is not the best play pre, rr'd on flop you can't call, what cards are you hoping to see on the turn?
    3. give up on the flop v two players, the A on the turn hits rag A's they called with on flop A4, A6, A8, you were lucky he was a bad player otherwise you get rr on turn and stacked if you get it in.

You were unlucky but the problems started pre flop in 1 and 2 and on the flop in 3.

    ^^^^^ U don't like opening A7 in the cut off w/ a deep/weak BB player, and 2 non-regs button & sb????

No they call too much and you have a one high card hand, i'd rather have a hand like KT for example, i can hit tp and get worse K's T's to call on multiple streets.

Well yeh I'd be opening those kinda hands also....

each to their own I spose, I don't play 50nl so I dunno.

    ----------------

    Other hands....

Hand 2 I wouldn't lead, once I lead and he raises I'm prob shoving or folding with his stack. Don't recognise the guy so dunno what I'd do.

Hand 3 I dn't cbet either. I'd value bet river as played tho.

If we are raising to get one of the blinds to call ie the deep weak BB and then check/fold the flop we can do this with 63o, our hand doesn't matter if that's our plan. Here we don't know if the btn will fold so we aren't certain of postion and even if e does A7 doesn't play well post flop. Weak players call alot so a hand than can flop a good tp and get called by a worse top pair/2nd pair is better imo. There are many better hands than A7o to raise the c/o imo but as you said each to their own.

agree pretty much completely with stien

Hand 2 is awful imo....why are you building the pot on that flop?  why aren't you folding when he is reraising flop and going all in on the turn?  what are you beating?

combo of bad luck and bad play but could be so easily avoided if you tighten up and stop entering pots in marginal spots.

thanks guys. yeah pre flop def need to tighten up, i can get away with some of this at lower levels but seem to get hit at nl50 . thanks for detailed feedback stein, your feedback is most welcome. phil

    yeah mostly what stein said

1 fold pre, although if you know he plays like this its hard argue with opening

    2. meh dont hate flat if he has wide opening range and you are c/r some flops you miss. Postflop is terrible, no idea what you are doing, unless you have some very specific read

    3. c/f flop. I would be inclined to check turn also

in my humble opinion playing weak hands asks for trouble as its so easy to get outdrawn if your running bad, so our bad run seems even worse. TBH even when running well do we want to play rag A7, sooner play 67 any day of the week!

The 2nd I feel was over played as the board was a mine field for you, was the call effected by your bad run?

3rd hand is just standard outdraw ul
