Dohhhhhhh has proed that these games can be beaten and i am determined to crack them as i find them enjoyable, but tbh im struggling a little bit.

1.  loose passive op. what to do on the end? I think there is a good chance he has the flush also

    I realise that hardly any1 plays HU hypers so im expecting this thread to die, but ty to Dohhhhhh for the reply off forum.

    hand 1) bet 140/call shove not many people in hypers re raise flops with flush draws usually top pairs (other random hands) be surprised if he shows up with a flush also

    hand 2) think you can fold with 400 behind as it is almost certain he is always showing up with a straight meaning you are drawing to hearts on river if flop was 6xxhh id be more inclined to get it in

    hand 3) i always call with A high here but thats cause i just don't believe a lot of the stuff they do, wouldnt surprise me him showing up with 5x 8x 67 though as they just spite call min-raises the lot of them with ATC (unless that is just v me)

    hand 4)this is a weird one it being a PSB on the river makes me think busted flush draw but just so many hands get there like JK gets there Ax Qx all ahead i think i probably call/throw pc across bedroom

    hand 5) don't really like it unless you are specifically putting them on Tx Qx and chasing the straight draw (which it looks like you are) but they are going to call you off a lot with Kx if they are brave Jx only way i like it is if what i first said you specifically put them on Tx Qx as they can't call the river shove and you dont want to showdown 8high

    Mr Hogg, i also try hyper SnG's and really do want to make them profitable. Hand 1, i would prob shove turn, as we have 2 decent draws and his bet of 40 looks week after the flop raise. But with this bet pattern you can also expect him to snap a shove off with a monster every once in a while... so i dont really know! That said i would bet maybe 3/4 pot for value on the river as you have played the hand. Interested to know what Dohhhhh said about it.

    2. i Fold. Pretty sure we need a heart and have no FE for a shove.

    3. Im not sure about it as i don't know how he has been playing... if he has donked alot of flops with hands (if you know) then i would be inclined to call this but if he has been "traping" he could have checked any kind of king over to you and it's an easy value bet for him. it is a suspiciously large bet though.

    4. I have no idea. Dohhhh?

    2 raise pre,fold now
    3 bet flop, fold now
    4 meh prob fold
    5 prefer betting flop. Dont like turn+river readless

    betsizing reads would help a lot in 3+4 if you have any

    Went thru these with Greg, the main hand I got a prob with is Hand 2, committing too many chips oop with a weak hand on a wet board. I'd never be betting the turn. 

    5 is obv just horrific throughout, so isn't included in the above statement.

    Thanks for all the comments guys, i messed up nearly all the hands which i suppose is the idea of the clinic. I have concluded that HU Hypers are not for me after losing alot of buyins yesterday.

    With regard to the above hands.

    1. I check called and he showed the 2nd nut flush. I saved myself 200 chips but i played it badly.
    2. Leading here twice was awful, as played i had to fold
    3. I hero snap called thinking my ace was good. He had 67 o/s for the straight.
    4. I called this as his betting didnt feel right. He turned over j2 o/s for a redic bluff.
    5. This stupid bluff actually worked. God knows how as the opponant didnt have a fold button lol.

    I beat Debdobs 3-1 yesterday, that was the only light at the end of a really dark tunnel. She said "your lucky" If only she could see my other games!!!
