Worst shove ever!

Hi,

Well, I was playing in the £3k bounty hunter last night, and went quite deep, in fact when I played this hand I believe I was 3rd out of around 12, I would normally chuck these type of cards away, but on the big blind, faced with a min-raise I thought I'd call to see a flop and a possible flush, anyway when I hit the flush I went all in, thinking maybe he has a high A or perhaps AJ, and well, bad beat.
I've been kicking myself all night, really wish I'd been anywhere but the blinds and I'd have probably folded, or he'd put a bigger raise in pre and I fold.

Thoughts??? Thanks

Once you decided to play the hand, then there is no getting away imo. This is prob one of the leaks in my game aswell, being too curious about the small blind min-raises. As it happens being in position, you have a nice hand that can really stack a player given the right flop. you got pretty much the best flop you could hope for and you cant lay it down after that.

I prob just get it in on flop, calling fine too. Turn stack off every day

Yep I fold preflop, if he's been raising every BvB situation then raise it back.

Flop best you could hope for I raise and get it in personally.

    Turn really cold ul.

Thanks chaps, oh well, live and learn... i dunno I just guessed that he was min raising to steal my blind lol Not a play I would normally do, but as you know, deep in a tourney, you need to take some risks I guess and I had my eye on the prize haha.

All said and done, stupid, stupid play from myself pre flop and at least I know I did wrong, but not THAT wrong eh ? lol

Never mind, thanks for the tips again folks !!!

This. Give it up or get aggro with it. Its blind on blind here so villain doesnt have to be strong at all. If you think he is tight and can get him off pre then raise, if villain is a bit of a stationy type then fold.
