Give up or fire 3rd barrel?

Earlier in the session the same player had check called a c-bet on a jack high flop holding A9 and then we had checked it down to the river after that. I had AT and took the small pot.

He had been raising almost every button and I had either folded or called so far. First time I'd had a chance to 3-bet. I expected to get called on the flop so I fire again on the turn. Is there any benifit to firing a 3rd barrel here? Can I make him fold anything or is it better to just check fold the river now?

Why are you both advising c/f flop?

What sort of flop would you need to cbet, surely this one is not bad fairly dry so bet will get through most times?

With your reads this guy could have a 7 IMO slow down on the river and as advised c/f river or hero call if not a big bet.

how he plays postflop is much more important than the fact he opens every button. Any reads on this?
Why is this the first time you could 3bet him?

    3bet bigger pre

Meh I think thats a pretty bad flop for you, prob c/f. If I fire once Im usually firing again on turn although its a sucky barrell card

river I c/f readless, he'll be getting great odds to call a bet, and he may check back some hands you beat
