My bluff at the end i was sure it would get through, considering the action. Even when he shown up on the river with a straight, i still think he should have got rid. i oozed strenght right the way through the hand. God knows what possessed him to call pre and on the flop. After i was called on the flop i was going to give up and check fold. However as i turned an open-ender, i bet out again. Again expecting a fold from a 1 pair type hand. His slow play on the turn was rather strange, as his hand was vulnerable.

Oh well you get these types of players in bounty hunter tournaments who like to chase any type of draw, hoping to hit.

I probably raise less pre at this stage of the tourney which makes your c-bet smaller but that turn is horrible for you (even though it gives you an OESD) cos JT96, you've gotta imagine that hits his range pretty hard, admittedly probably not in the way he did lol but there are so many KQ,KJ,AJ, QJ, JT, (to name but a few) in his range. I just check/fold turn

I raise 2200 pre actually just min it.

Flop cbet less 2900 does same imo.

    Check turn IP.

    Check river.

No need to shove river imo, 28bbs left two streets called just give it up.

Definitely check the turn and give up if the river doesn't improve

Agree.  Am certainly not looking to bump heads with other big stack at table with air.

May not even cbet flop as smacks a callers range.  Likely take the free card and go from there
