Trading in Sky Poker Points for something beside Freerolls

I have played on a large number of Poker sites, and although Sky Poker is good in that it offers some sort of rakeback deal with the sky poker points. Just being able to spend the points on freeroll entries is repetative.

As a high volume player, I don't have any interest playing in a 3-5 hour+ MTT to be in with the chance of winning £12. I believe that there should be other ways in which you can spend your points. Ranging from low to high entry tournament tickets and Sky Poker memorabilia, such as hoodies etc.

(P.S RESIZABLE TABLES!!!!!!!!!!!)

hi i agree that being able to use the points for something other than freerolls is a good idea. But rob u mention about maybe getting cash for ur points! Sky have a promotion called cash for points. If u have entered the promo code POKER in the promotions section u do get cash for the amount of points u earn within a monthly period. All points that qualify for cash will then be deducted from ur poker points total and ur cash is credited to ur account by the end of the 5th business day of the following month. If ur still unsure on the cash for points pomo just check out the promo section on the lobby page and it explains in more detail. Hope this helps

Was looking around on another site earlier, and one of the things they were allowing people to trade points in for was a 10-seater, 82" poker table. I want one... :o

+1 for trading in points for items :)

    +1 .

I have asked SKY for a shop where you can buy merchandise for cash / points . I think my request has fallen on deaf ears.

Exchanging points for better tourneys is best option but a shop would also be nice.

This was mentioned years ago.  The problem that sky face is that many players have got >100k points as they played on the site before cash for points was introduced.
For sky to bring in a store the cost would be HUGE as their must be millions of points sitting in peoples accounts.  I have />25k points and would love to be able to use them but im not holding my breath.

Yeah i totally agree with this, i think as per other sites you could also exchange points throughout the month for tournament tokens or merchandise, i think sky should look in to this, great idea!!!

Although this is a valid point. I don't believe this should hold the store back. Maybe Sky could create a store that accepts a different form of currency, as an alternative to poker points. Just call it frequent player points or something along those lines.

merch shop would be brilliant, its one of those things that makes poker stars points more valuble than sky bets points for example, i think it would bring in an increase of players purely because of the extra value they would be getting out of play/points. we should start a petition haha.

I asked for merchandise shop 3 years ago and Tikay said it is not viable as a business for Sky Poker at that time. Doubt anything has changed.

sky run b/hunter freerolls 2 everynight and also a mini freeroll and they do bigger points rolls every now and again as well i think it was the spt or something the last time for bigger points entrie,s.and there was also the syndicate freeroll they where doing every week.if sky did open a points store would that mean u would be happy for them too stop paying out cash for the points u earn every month.as they only use the points now too work out the bonus people recieve every month
