Trade satellite seats for cash

Many times someones plays a satellite, wins a seat and for some reason he/she can't play the event.What is the ending? Lose the seat and the money invested in winning it.

Why can't he/she trade the seat won for the money that is worth or sky make satellite seats available to play at every tourrnament of the same buy-in and not just for a specific ones?

Any opinions/thoughts?

    yea deffo this has happen to me a couple of times would be good to have option to do this

    As I've said elsewhere a ticket or credit system would solve this as you could use to suit.

    The problem comes if the tournament has an overlay, then Sky lose money,not something they like doing.

    Ive seen in a sat that Ive played in someone won a seat but was already registered in the tournament they won the seat to and in the prizes it said something like 'your account has been credited with the cash equivelent buyin ammount because your already registered' so you can do it that way

    They might do for a live event but not online, if they did it would be at a reduced rate like 30% of the ticket value.
