I was playing in the £60 GTD earlier, and got into the cash, ( final 5 ) after a few bad beats i was down to lowest stack.

Is shoving on the J 10 the right move in that situation, as i feel its the only mistake i made in the whole tournament.

Right move, wrong time. Unlucky. With three players left to act most times you will pick up the blinds and increase your stack by about 15% and JT plays well against most hands that call since you are likely to have high cards. In this example you weren't far off a coin flip anyway (about 60:40 I think)

Run better or don't get down to 8xBB in the first place if you can avoid it
